What fluid should you use for the DPF/FAP system ?
Nowadays, concern for the environment is becoming more and more popular, which is why manufacturers use Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF / FAP). Their job is to clean exhaust gases from harmful particles in cars with diesel engines. Unfortunately, you may face many problems with these systems. They can become clogged, reducing engine performance or gas response. They can also increase fuel burn. In our France Auto store you can find almost every part related to diesel particulate filters. There are two types of tanks:
- FAP Additive Tank – can be refilled with proper fluid
- FAP Pouch – whole must be replaced, cannot be refilled

Which colour and type of FAP fluid ?
These refilling rules concern only to FAP Additive Tanks.
If your car is equipped with a FAP Pouch, refilling is not possible, you have to replace the whole FAP pouch. While fitting, we do not recommend to only pay attention to production date.

How to choose proper FAP Pouch ?
These rules concern only to FAP pouches.
Fap pouches are disposable and it can't be refilled with FAP fluid.
In our offer you can find a wide range of FAP pouches for car brands like Citroen or Peugeot.
To find a proper FAP pouch, please check the FAP pouch part number or contact us with your car VIN number.
After the FAP pouch replace it is necessary to reset the pouch level counter with proper diagnostic tool.

How to choose proper FAP Fluid with the ORGA number ?
The ORGA number is used to determine the date of manufacture of Peugeot and Citroen vehicles. The sticker with the ORGA number is located in the door frame of the driver's door, on the A-pillar, B-pillar or the inside of the door.
White / Gray clip: EOLYS DPX42
Used in cars up to ORGA 9492 number.
Green / Brown clip: EOLYS 176 or INFINEUM F7995
Used in cars where the number starts from ORGA 9493 to ORGA 12166 number.
